A SPACE DEDICATED TO 2-12 YEARS
Created by Lorient Agglomération in the heart of the Cité de la Voile Éric Tabarly, the Cité des Moussaillons is a place specially designed for children between 2 and 12 years old and inhabited by the construction site of a monumental sailboat on 4 levels.

Children learn best when they're having fun!
On board the ship, children experiment, manipulate and play. 1000 m2 of fun and educational discoveries, on 4 levels. Small and large groups participate in the construction of the hull of the sailboat, explore the docks, discover climatic phenomena, understand the main principles of life in the oceans, climb into the nest of magpie, evolve in the ropes, imagine stories...
So many sequences to live in a new experience in this place entirely designed for children.
The City of Moussaillons offers 48 devices that stimulate creativity and curiosity through manipulations and experiments.
At the shipyard, children are invited to collaborate and share in finalizing the hull of the boat.

They evolve independently on an aerial course in nets and ropes on two motor skills courses (2-6 years and 7-12 years).

Throughout the session they will be immersed in a unique setting and maritime atmosphere.

The key role of adults
Adults embark on adventure with children.
At work or as mere observers, they accompany the children in their experience in the City of Moussaillons.
The Cité de la Voile Éric Tabarly
Extend the family experience with a visit to the Cité de la Voile Éric Tabarly, which plunges you into the world of sailing and ocean racing. The Cité de la Voile offers a fun and dynamic discovery experience, with films, hands-on activities, a sailing simulator and a 4D cinema. Young and old alike can get their hands on hulls, rigging and sails, drive a radio-controlled sailboat around the dock, and experience the thrill of boarding a Vendée Globe boat for a round-the-world voyage thanks to the 4D cinema.

The Cité des Moussaillons is dedicated to children from 2 to 12 years old. Outside this age group, the visitor is considered as an accompanying person and entry is only justified to accompany a child aged 2 to 12 years.
